Demonstrated experience assisting with or leading projects and teams in a variety of professional contexts. Extensive previous experience in hiring, onboard, leading, and scheduling teams. A history of developing staff training to meet organizational needs, and effective facilitation to ensure that team members are productive and supported in their roles. A flexible, personally motivated and organized approach to the workplace, with ability to manage unexpected challenges and problem solve independently, is essential for this position. Excellent time management skills, and ability to work, lead and prioritize under pressure with grace, flexibility and professionalism. Personable, outgoing and comfortable working on site and managing any concerns or issues that may arise from team and external clients in a professional, warm manner. Proven ability to professionally handle confidential information and exercise good judgement in the interpretation and application of instructions and organizational policy. Demonstrated ability to work well independently, collaboratively and liaise effectively with a wide and diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Must be available for onsite interview between January 17-20, 2025. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, providing satisfactory documentation upon request. Ability to work 100% onsite as required, abiding by organization health and safety policies. Data Entry Supervisor (2 positions) for provincial government agency client, North York.

Job Type : Temporary.
Initial Term : February 2 2025 to May 30 2025.
Compensation : $35 per hour.
Regular Work Hours : FULL TIME WORK HOURS – 7.25 work hours per day, not including .75 hour lunch break, to be typically worked during regular business hours, Monday-Friday (36.25 work hours per week). During peak periods, candidates must be able to work variable shifts between 8am and 9pm, including weekends, to accommodate a time sensitive, significantly increased volume of work.
Work Location : 100% onsite at client’s North York office, accessible by bus and free parking provided.
Position Reports to : Project Manager, Information Management
Responsibilities Summary :
Oversee team of 15+ data entry agents working on a large scale, province wide project. Act as point of escalation for cross checking information, and supervise staff members through the accurate and timely completion of work.
- Manage overall operations of team, including hiring, onboarding, training and performance management.
- Design and produce training material to support data entry agents in effectively carrying out job responsibilities.
- Monitor daily progress of data entry staff and report statistics to manager.
- Manage cue of virtual waiting customers, ensuring that staff on team are handling workload appropriately to support modest wait times, and that escalation structure for resolution of more complex issues runs smoothly.
- Manage shifts for data entry agents on team, monitoring scheduling and overall workload to ensure that team is appropriately staffed to meet external demands.
- Conduct daily meetings with team to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Ensure that work is in compliance with regulating privacy policies pertinent to the protection of personal information.
- Other team oversight and data processing duties as required.
Qualifications :
Education : Postsecondary degree or diploma in related discipline a strong asset.
Preferred Work Experience : Approximately 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or team lead in a call center or data entry environment.
