Description de posteProvide pre-sale technical support throughout a collaborative sales process with the BearCom Sales Team to win video / access control deployments that typically range from $25,000 to $1M+ projects. Design video and / or access control systems to support a wide range of customer applications. Develop video / access control equipment / installation quotes and ongoing maintenance agreements. Work with customer IT resources to plan network integration and end-user enablement. Complete statement of work / scope and set up BearCom’s post-sale service team for successful install / enablement of the system. Make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience of high technical skills, management, and operational experience. Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer supporting video surveillance and access control sales and deployments. Minimum of 5 years Senior B2B Sales support experience in designing, estimating, deploying, and supporting Video Surveillance and Access Control platforms. Proven track record of consistent sales and engineering success. Understanding of AI-enabled video systems and ability to problem-solve for customers utilizing technology. Excellent understanding of network infrastructure to support physical security platforms to include LAN / WAN, PTP, PTMP, wireless mesh, and CBRS. Strong understanding of Microsoft networking model. Working knowledge of Security System deployments, troubleshooting, and identifying / resolving issues related to video, access control, and networking components not fully functioning system diagnosis and resolution. Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels within customer's organizations. Experience with design tools, such as Avigilon's System Design Tool and other estimation software. Highly organized and ability to manage many priorities. Ability to travel up to 50%. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Drug screenings and background checks are part of the hiring process, which may include a Motor Vehicle Record check. As a BearCom Physical Security Sales Engineer , you will lead or assist in pre-sales engineering, proof of concepts, system commissioning / deployment, and customer training. BearCom provides cutting-edge AI-enabled video platforms and access control as part of a total solution comprised of voice, video, and data to allow customers to prevent unwanted actions and respond to safety, security, and operational demands in real-time.
The Physical Security Sales Engineer will work collaboratively with our North American Sales team, primarily in the region in which you're assigned, to win and support new projects across our extensive customer base and with new prospects. You will lead technical discussions with customers, develop engineered designs, and support price quoting on video or access control solutions for key decision-makers that range from CIOs, IT Directors, Network Engineers to School Administrators. Your technical expertise and teamwork with the BearCom Sales team will solve significant challenges for customers, deliver breakthrough financial results for the company, and most importantly, provide you a tremendous career opportunity with our unique technologies.
