External DDSB Occasional Principal and Vice-principal Supply Pool

Your decision to apply for a position in the DDSB demonstrates your dedication to working collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the success of all students and staff. School leaders in the DDSB are supported at every stage of their leadership journey.

Successful candidates will be placed into an Occasional pool for daily assignments within the board.

This posting is for external retired administrators only and will not lead to any permanent position within the school board.

Qualifications :

• Previously employed as a fully qualified Vice Principal or Principal.
• Hold current Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing.
• Principal’s Qualification Program (PQP) qualifications.
• Have a valid criminal reference check.

Please note : The position that you retired from will be the occasional equivalent of the position you would be hired for.

Successful candidates will display the core leadership competencies developed in the Ontario Leadership Framework (OLF) that have been shown to be effective in improving student achievement and well-being, including : Setting Directions, Building Relationships and Developing People, Developing the Organization to Support Desired Practices, Improving the Instructional Program, and Securing Accountability.
