ICI Construction Estimator
📍 Location : Greater Toronto Area
💰 Salary : $90,000 - $110,000 (based on experience)
We're currently seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) construction to join a reputable General Contractor in the GTA .
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction estimating processes, tender preparation, and cost analysis for new builds, renovations, and additions. You'll work closely with the project management team to ensure bids are competitive, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for ICI construction projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs.
- Source and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings, providing input on constructability, cost, and scheduling.
- Support project managers and senior leadership in value engineering and cost planning initiatives.
- Track and manage bid opportunities, deadlines, and post-tender follow-ups.
