Qualifications

• 2-3 years working in Banquets, preferably in a large hotel or convention centre environment.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a banquet or hospitality setting, an asset.
• Experience working within a unionized environment, an asset.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Knowledge of event management, health and safety protocols, and food service standards.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering a high-quality guest experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often working long hours on your feet and lifting heavy objects.
• Experience using Event Management Software and proficient in MS Office Suite.
