Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team and contribute to the repair and maintenance of our fleet of concrete trucks. We have immediate openings for T Mechanics at multiple locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

If you are safety-conscious, energetic, and ready to be a part of a team that prioritizes quality and service, we encourage you to apply. A minimum of a DZ License is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and general vehicle repair on concrete trucks.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance services and repairs as required.
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns as needed.
  • Work in compliance with the companys Health and Safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of services and work performed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid T Truck and Coach or Heavy Duty Technician license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working on heavy trucks.
  • A valid G Drivers License with a clean driving record is required. An AZ or DZ license is preferred.
  • Must own a toolbox and hand tools.
  • Experience with hydraulic systems is an asset.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge (e.g., work orders, email) is an asset.
  • Ability to keep a neat and organized workspace and adhere to good housekeeping practices in the shop.
  • Safety-conscious mindset with a strong commitment to following company policies and procedures.
