Registered Nurse – Obstetrics (OBS) & Med-Surg
Location : Northern Ontario
Rate : $100 / hour + Travel and Accommodation Provided
Contract : 3 months (Full-Time), with potential for extension
SpeedStaff Medical is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel assignments in Northern Ontario . This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in remote healthcare settings, deliver high-quality patient care, and make a meaningful impact in underserved communities.
About the Role
The RN will work in both Obstetrics (OBS) and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) units , providing comprehensive patient care and ensuring the well-being of expectant mothers, newborns, and post-surgical patients. This role requires adaptability, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and medical-surgical nursing care.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist in labor and delivery, and provide postpartum care.
- Assess and manage post-surgical and acute care patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic health records.
