Description de poste
Are you a determined, imaginative, and curious learning leader who excels at turning complex digital transformations into engaging, practical capability-building programs? Our client is proud to connect North America and the world to the essential energy they need every day. Guided by their values of safety, personal accountability, one team, and active learning, they balance reliability, affordability, and sustainability across everything they do. Currently, they are embarking on SAP Plus—a major enterprise transformation implementing SAP S/4HANA and related cloud solutions. Now they are seeking a Training Lead to take charge of their end-to-end learning strategy and execution. Reporting to the Director – People, you will partner closely with System Integration (SI) partners and business leaders to ensure their field, operations, and corporate teams are fully equipped to perform confidently on Day 1 and beyond.

Advantages
Mission-Critical Transformation: Play a key role in shaping and delivering high-visibility enterprise solutions on SAP S/4HANA.
High-Level Stakeholder Visibility: Work directly with senior business leads, technical architects, and vendor system integrators to drive decisions and operational readiness.
Culture of Excellence & Innovation: Collaborate in an environment that values continuous improvement, innovative problem-solving, and clear governance.
End-to-End Ownership: Oversee the entire lifecycle—from initial requirements elicitation and design workshops to test planning, defect triage, and cutover readiness.
Structured, Governed Impact: Build and maintain audit-ready artifacts, decision logs, and quality frameworks in a highly structured, enterprise environment.

Responsibilities
Drive High-Visibility Enterprise Impact: Lead the end-to-end training lifecycle for a flagship SAP S/4HANA program that powers critical North American energy infrastructure.
Innovate Modern Learning Strategy: Design a comprehensive, blended learning ecosystem leveraging instructor-led sessions, e-learning, digital adoption platforms, simulations, and in-app guidance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Change Management, HR, Technical, and System Integrator leadership to shape the People workstream and user adoption.
End-to-End Program Ownership: Guide the training roadmap from initial design and build through deployment, hypercare, and long-term sustainment.
Culture of Active Learning: Embed yourself in an environment that actively invests in continuous improvement, employee empowerment, and sustainable capability-building.
Training Strategy & Governance: Develop and execute the SAP Plus training strategy, roadmap, integrated project plan, and governance model across all phases (Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Hypercare, and Sustainment). Integrate closely with Change Management, readiness, and communications.
Curriculum & Content Architecture: Partner with the System Integrator Training Lead to design role-based learning paths, course catalogues, and audience mapping. Ensure materials are practical, process-aligned, and tailored for field, operations, corporate, and leader audiences.
Role-to-Position Mapping (RTPM): Co-develop the People workstream strategy for Role-to-Position Mapping. Translate RTPM outputs into actionable inputs for learner assignment, security access, course scheduling, and go-live readiness reporting.
Training Delivery & Logistics: Oversee global training schedules, enrollment, completion tracking, practice environments, and learner access in partnership with the Technical team. Direct an on-site Training Analyst and partner with offshore SI development teams.
Sustainment & Adoption: Establish the post-go-live learning sustainment framework, clarifying ownership across the Training Centre of Excellence, LMS teams, and business process owners. Use feedback and readiness metrics to drive continuous capability building.

Qualifications
Required:Proven Learning Leadership: Significant experience leading training strategies, instructional design, and learning deployment for large-scale enterprise ERP implementations (SAP S/4HANA preferred), technology, or business transformations.
Instructional & Methodological Expertise: Deep understanding of role-based training, learning needs analysis (LNA), adult learning principles, logistics, measurement, and sustainment models.
Change & Program Integration: Demonstrated track record of coordinating training deliverables alongside change management, communications, organizational readiness, testing, and hypercare.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Strong facilitation and influencing skills to navigate complex program teams, business leaders, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and vendor partners.
Communication & Business Acumen: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach to complex transformations.
Preferred / Assets:
Hands-on experience with SAP business processes, LMS platforms, digital adoption platforms (DAPs), simulations, or in-app guidance tools. Prior experience with role mapping, personas, security access readiness, or learner audience segmentation.
