We are looking for a Lead Engineer, Tooling Design to join our Kitchener, ON location!

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for managing tooling development projects and initiatives. This position will manage the budgets, schedules and tooling design resources required to complete development projects on time and within budget. The role will also be responsible for the administrative and technical supervision of Project Engineers and Tooling Designers.  This position has direct supervision responsibility for Project Engineers and Tooling Designers.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Design tools for field services work

• Create conceptual designs of service tools for machining, welding, inspection, etc.
• Create design plans and perform design reviews.
• Seek out stakeholder input.
• Support tool testing and modifications required during execution.

The base salary range for this position in [[Ontario]]   at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[89,000]] and $[[139,000]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and / or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
