The ROLE
As a Clinical Lead at ROCK, you will support the Manager in providing leadership to an interdisciplinary team of clinicians. Your role will focus on ensuring a healthy team culture, expediting service delivery, and offering clinical mentorship to your team. You will help facilitate clinical processes, manage referrals, monitor waitlists, and mitigate potential risks to clients. In collaboration with the broader leadership team, you will contribute to achieving organizational goals with a focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion. You will also provide direct client service, maintaining a small caseload and delivering assessments and treatments to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Healthy Team Culture : Responsible for establishing and maintaining a cohesive interdisciplinary team of clinicians whose individual and collective efforts work for the benefit of the clients of the Agency.
- Expediting Service Delivery : Review referrals, manage waitlists, mitigate potential client risks, and ensure clients are prepared and ready for service.
- Mentorship : Offer coaching and mentoring on clinical processes, practices and administrative elements to therapy team. Model and further enhance the Agency’s cultural competencies.
- Clinical Support : Provide clinical consultation to staff, support Manager with supervisory duties as needed, collaborate and contribute to change management activities. Support the onboarding of new staff and students. Facilitate staff meetings, project management, and contribute to internal committees.
- Team Alignment : Collaborate with ROCK’s broader leadership team to align team goals with the organization’s mission, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion and work collaboratively with other clinical leads of the Therapy Team.
- Committee Participation : Participate in agency committees and community groups to support accreditation, program evaluation, and best practices.
- Client and Staff Safety : Ensure compliance with client and staff safety practices in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and agency policies. Identify and bring client safety issues up for senior management to review, and champion client safety initiatives, as assigned.
- Direct Client Service : Maintain a small caseload as needed, providing individual, family, and group therapy for children (ages 0-18) and their families. Identify and elevate client risks to Manager. Advocate for clients within the interdisciplinary team and the broader community, offering holistic support.
