POSITION : Operations Coordinator   LOCATION : Surrey, BC   TERM : Permanent, full-time   ABOUT DEBRAND   At Debrand, we take an integrated approach in identifying the apparel industry's needs and supporting solutions across re-use and recycling channels.

We are trying to improve the life cycle of apparel, accessories, and footwear by sorting to scalable technologies in ways never done before.

We must rely on our knowledge of materials and the equipment we are using to create innovative solutions.  ABOUT THE ROLE   We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations Coordinator to support the daily operational activities of our organization.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for project data entry, coordinating logistics across all Debrand facilities, and providing customs support.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong attention to detail to ensure smooth operations within the organization.  As with most entrepreneurial companies, the role may shift and change quickly as we pivot to keep the needs of our clients and partners as a top priority.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a successful team and expand your skillset to a wide range of business activities with a quickly growing company.    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES   Perform accurate and timely project data entry, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards.

Coordinate logistics across multiple facilities, optimizing efficiency and ensuring timely deliveries.

Support customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.

Maintain and update records related to shipments, inventory, and operational activities.

Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and logistics partners to streamline processes.

Assist in resolving logistical issues and escalating problems as necessary.

Monitor and analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement.

Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance workflow efficiency.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS   Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).  Proven experience in an operations or logistics role.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Work, Outlook) and data entry systems.

Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes is a plus.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong problem solving skills and a high attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
