Senior Product Designer

Location : Office-Based / Home-Based / Hybrid, Canada

Position Summary :

As a Senior Product Designer, designing beautiful experiences that meet the needs of real people will attract you to this role.  You'll work with a group of passionate, cross-functional people in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment. You'll play a key role in supporting the transformation of our digital experience, ensuring users seamlessly navigate through and interact with our digital ecosystem – which wraps around our in-product experience.

Human-centered-design will be the backbone of your expertise and you’ll be at ease designing simple and usable product solutions that solve complex customer problems. You will possess a unique blend of expertise across both UX and UI design, which means you will have a comprehensive understanding of user-centered design principles, coupled with a keen eye for crafting visually stunning interfaces – bringing a holistic approach to product design.

Your Day-to-Day :

Champion Design Thinking

• Advocate for Human-Centered Design, ensuring projects prioritize user needs and experiences.
• Lead the end-to-end design process, from conceptualization to delivery, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, other Designers, and subject-matter-experts to translate business goals into intuitive and visually appealing design solutions.
• Use storytelling and communication for transparent collaboration through design processes.
• Facilitate cross functional team workshops – bringing everyone together at key points in the process and around key decisions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, integrating them into our design processes.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.
