Primary resonsibilities :

• Delivering engineering solutions validation to agreed timescales, within budget & to an acceptable quality standard
• Prepare, oversee and contribute to the test and validation phase of software modifications and maintenance changes to AME SER supported fleets that are in commercial service. The primary purpose of this position is to define strategies and oversee the work progress to validate software and its related documentation in support of in-service fleets
• Primary work domains will be : test and validation of software systems, definition of the required software tools and hardware equipment, definition of the validation strategy and test cases.
• Demonstrable knowledge and capability in software testing and be responsible for providing technical leadership in the testsing and validation of software, be familiar with relevant industry standards and have a proven capability in the developing and justifying technical solutions, producing documentation as required
• Oversee work organisation and progress of small SW testing teams (2-5 testers)
• Be versatile, autonomous, with hands-on experience, comfortable working in unclear and ill-defined environments, resourceful to find information. Candidate must be comfortable with working in legacy development environments with potentially obsolete tools
