About the Role
Applicants MUST live in Toronto or the GTA to be considered.
Are you a driven, self-starting sales professional with a hunter mentality? Do you thrive on identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals? If so, we’re seeking an Education Technology Specialist to drive net new business in the EdTech space.
This role is 100% focused on lead generation and new client acquisition. Some knowledge and experience with account management is required.
You’ll prospect, pitch, and sell our cutting-edge learning solutions to K-12, higher education, corporate training providers, and corporations. If you’re a skilled cold caller, networker, and an expert in closing deals , this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sales Planning : Execute a targeted sales strategy to generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into long-term customers.
- Prospect & Qualify Leads : Identify and engage new business opportunities through cold calling / emails, networking, and outbound sales strategies to connect with decision makers.
- Drive New Business : Proactively identify, engage, and sell our EdTech solutions and effectively articulate our value proposition to present tailored solutions to key decision-makers.
- Manage Full Sales Cycle : From initial outreach to closing deals, you own the process and are accountable for results.
- Develop Relationships : Build trust through active listening to develop tailored value propositions that contribute to boosting conversion rates and maintaining a high level of customer engagement.
- Consistently Hit Sales Targets : Meet and exceed monthly quotas by demonstrating persistence, adaptability, and strong negotiation skills to close deals effectively and contribute to overall business growth.
- Collaborate Internally : Provide feedback on market trends, customer pain points, and competitive insights to help shape targeted campaigns, messaging, and lead-generation initiatives.
- Attend Industry Events & Engage Prospects : Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
