Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forecast Manager specializing in e-commerce to lead our forecasting, allocation, and planning processes. Candidates should have experience managing inventory for products manufactured overseas, primarily in China, and be familiar with the complexities of a global supply chain. A strong background in the retail industry, especially in the allocation and forecasting of seasonal business and small appliances, is essential. The ideal candidate will also drive the development of more sophisticated forecasting methods over the medium term, using advanced tools and analytics to enhance data accuracy and market responsiveness. Proficiency in Power BI and experience in both 1P and 3P warehouse management are crucial.
Key Responsibilities :

Ensure forecasting aligns closely with e-commerce demand dynamics to optimize inventory levels.
- Inventory Allocation and Channel Management : Strategically allocate inventory across 1P and 3P e-commerce channels, managing warehouse inventory levels to ensure stock availability meets demand while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Data Analysis and Visualization : Leverage Power BI and other analytics tools to create forecasting models, dashboards, and visualizations that enhance decision-making and performance tracking within e-commerce contexts.
- Sales and Market Analysis : Continuously monitor sales patterns, customer demand, and e-commerce market conditions, adjusting forecasts as necessary to remain responsive to rapid changes in demand.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner closely with e-commerce, warehouse, and supply chain teams to develop efficient allocation strategies that maximize service levels and minimize costs.
- Forecasting Methodology Advancement : In the medium term, spearhead the transition to more sophisticated forecasting methodologies tailored to e-commerce to improve accuracy, scalability, and adaptability.
- Own Warehouse Communication : Act as the primary liaison with warehouse teams to coordinate on inventory needs, inbound / outbound logistics, and e-commerce-specific operational requirements to streamline stock flow.
