We are seeking a Senior Electronics Designer to drive the architectural design, board-level execution, and validation of complex, high-performance electronics systems. This role is aligned with O*NET 17-2071.00 (Electrical Engineers) and focuses on advanced hardware solutions for cutting-edge industrial applications, including high-speed digital designs, mixed-signal systems, and imaging technology.

As a Senior Electronics Designer within the Randstad Operational — Engineering & Design specialization, you will play a central role in guiding hardware design strategies from initial concept through prototype validation and full production ramp-up.

Advantages
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
• Progressive paid vacation allocation plus company-observed holidays.
• Retirement savings plan with competitive company matching contributions.
• Tuition assistance and continuous professional development support.
• Opportunity to design globally impactful technologies within high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
• Lead the complete hardware lifecycle as a Senior Electronics Designer, from concept architecture to final production qualification.
• Own high-speed circuit architecture design, including power delivery networks, signal integrity analysis, and noise mitigation strategies.
• Define advanced PCB stackups, component placements, and routing strategies for complex, high-density board layouts.
• Perform rigorous board-level testing, hardware debugging, and signal integrity validation using advanced laboratory instrumentation.
• Design robust mixed-signal schematics featuring analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), digital-to-analog converters (DACs), switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), low-dropout regulators (LDOs), and high-speed operational amplifiers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware, FPGA, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration.
• Conduct structured engineering design reviews and enforce high standards for manufacturability (DFM), testability (DFT), and reliability.
• Mentor junior and intermediate hardware engineers, providing technical guidance, code/schematic reviews, and skill development support.
• Identify technical risks early in the design cycle and develop robust mitigation strategies.
• Support manufacturing partners during prototype assembly, pilot runs, and volume production scale-up.

Qualifications
• Expert-level proficiency in board-level electronics design, schematics capture, and PCB layout tools (e.g., Siemens PADS, Altium Designer, or Cadence Allegro).
• Extensive expertise in high-speed digital design, mixed-signal architectures, and power electronics.
• Advanced knowledge of FPGA integration, microcontroller implementation, high-speed serial interfaces, and fiber-optic communication protocols.
• Deep understanding of signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) compliance standards.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills for complex circuit debugging and hardware troubleshooting.
• Excellent technical leadership, mentoring capabilities, and cross-functional communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
• Typically 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Electronics Designer or Hardware Engineer in high-reliability product development.
• Demonstrated track record of leading complex electrical designs through successful production rollout.
• Hands-on expertise with advanced laboratory test equipment, including high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
