CNC Programmer

Join our team as a CNC Programmer, where you will play a pivotal role in manufacturing excellence using advanced machinery. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in CNC programming and organizational skills to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment focused on creating high-quality products.

What You Will Do

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining programs for punch press, brake press, and 2D and 3D laser cutting machines. Your role will involve:

  • Developing and modifying CNC programs to meet production schedules and quality standards.

  • Ensuring efficient material usage and machine operation through effective nesting and sequencing strategies.

  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to refine processes and improve output quality.

  • Utilizing advanced programming software to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.

  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of programs and process changes.

  • Managing proper revision control and coordination of CNC programs to ensure up-to-date and accurate implementation across production.

How You Will Do It

Your work will embody foundational principles, ensuring excellence in every task. Success in this role will be achieved through:

  • Taking ownership of your outcomes with a commitment to accountability, safety, and integrity in your programming and problem-solving techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CNC programming, particularly with punch press, brake press, and laser cutting technologies.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in CAD/CAM software, and a detail-oriented approach to programming.

  • Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to creating a safe working environment.'

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements and technologies.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $63,000-$87,000 CAD (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
