  • Specify and select electrical equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and protective relays, for new projects and system upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues, minimizing downtime and improving operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the commissioning and startup of new electrical systems and upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE, API).
  • Provide technical expertise and support for capital projects, from conceptual design to execution and commissioning.
  • Monitor and analyze electrical system performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.

What We’re Looking For :

  • 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas or energy sector.
  • Extensive experience with substation design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of power system analysis, protective relaying, and motor control systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., NEC, IEEE, API).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making.
