Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on a high visibility project? Our Winnipeg higher-education client is looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Systems Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract working closely with the Data team to play a role in a multi-year initiative for a major system upgrade.

Responsibilities
Analyze reports and work with Business on purpose of each report
Reverse engineer the SQL used to generate report and determine the data it requires
Redesign SQL to point to other data source (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Banner)
Create specifications with new SQL to re-build report to a developer (or team of developers)
Unit test reports
Coordinate testing reports with business
Coordinate promoting reports to production environment

Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience as a System / Data Analyst
Minimum 10 years of experience with Oracle SQL
Minimum 10 years of PL/SQL Developer application experience
Minimum 10 years of experience working with Microsoft Cloud SQL Server
Minimum 5 years of experience with T-SQL
Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server
Must have experience working with Microsoft Azure
Must have experience developing with Power BI
