Business Analyst (Intermediate)

Overview:

This role focuses on bridging business needs and technology solutions within a complex financial systems environment. The Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders across multiple regions and functions to gather requirements, support system enhancements, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, maintainable solutions.

The position involves collaboration with development and support teams globally, contributing to both project delivery and ongoing operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders across business and IT in a multi-application, global environment.
Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Provide functional and technical expertise to support scalable and maintainable solutions.
Document system requirements and maintain support documentation (runbooks).
Write and analyze complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Design, implement, and automate test scenarios.
Work closely with global development teams across multiple regions.
Understand and incorporate regulatory requirements into system design and processes.
Investigate and resolve functional issues, ensuring proper escalation when required.
Support end users across Sales, Trading, and Front, Middle, and Back Office functions.
Collaborate with development teams on release planning and deployment activities.
Coordinate with global support teams to ensure consistent service quality.
Deliver user training and support onboarding of new team members.
Build and maintain strong relationships with end users and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Experience & Education:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.

Core Skills:

Advanced proficiency in SQL.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) across technical and business audiences.
Solid understanding of financial products (e.g., structured finance, trade finance)
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Adaptability in fast-paced and evolving environments.
Proactive, results-driven mindset.
Team-oriented with a strong client focus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Loan IQ or similar financial systems.
Programming or software development experience.
Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices.
Experience working in global or distributed IT environments.
Background in financial services (Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Compliance, or Accounting)
Prior experience in application support roles.

Language Requirements:

Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.

Ce poste vise à faire le lien entre les besoins métiers et les solutions technologiques dans un environnement financier complexe. Le rôle implique une collaboration étroite avec les équipes de développement et de support globales, tant sur des projets que sur des activités de support.

Responsabilités principales:

Collaborer avec les parties prenantes métiers et IT dans un environnement global multi-applicatif.
Recueillir et analyser les besoins métiers, puis les traduire en spécifications techniques.
Apporter une expertise fonctionnelle et technique pour des solutions évolutives et maintenables.
Documenter les exigences systèmes et maintenir les procédures de support (runbooks).
Rédiger et analyser des requêtes SQL complexes et des procédures stockées.
Concevoir, implémenter et automatiser des scénarios de tests.
Collaborer avec des équipes de développement réparties à l’international.
Intégrer les contraintes réglementaires dans les processus et solutions.
Analyser et résoudre les incidents fonctionnels avec escalade appropriée.
Supporter les utilisateurs métiers (Sales, Trading, Front, Middle et Back Office).
Participer à la gestion des mises en production avec les équipes de développement.
Coordonner avec les équipes de support globales pour garantir la qualité de service.
Former les utilisateurs et accompagner l’intégration des nouveaux arrivants.
Maintenir des relations solides avec les utilisateurs et les parties prenantes.

Profil recherché

Expérience & Formation:

Minimum 3 ans d’expérience en tant qu’analyste d’affaires.
Diplôme universitaire en informatique, technologies de l’information, finance ou domaine connexe.

Compétences clés:

Maîtrise avancée du SQL.
Excellentes compétences en communication (écrite et orale).
Bonne connaissance des produits financiers (finance structurée, trade finance, etc.)
Solides capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes.
Rigueur et sens de l’organisation.
Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanément.
Adaptabilité dans des environnements dynamiques.
Esprit proactif et orienté résultats.
Esprit d’équipe et orientation client.

Atouts supplémentaires:

Expérience avec Loan IQ ou systèmes similaires.
Compétences en programmation ou développement.
Connaissance des pratiques d’intégration continue.
Expérience dans un environnement IT international.
Expérience dans les services financiers (Front Office, Middle Office, Risque, Conformité, Comptabilité).
Expérience en support applicatif.

Langues:

Maîtrise de l’anglais à l’écrit et à l’oral.
Capacité à collaborer avec des équipes internationales.
