Position Description :

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office ( Yonge Street) 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.

Technical Skills

Proficient in configuring, managing, and maintaining Splunk & Dynatrace environments. Experience with Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL). Experience with Dynatrace OneAgent deployment and configuration. Knowledge of Splunk data ingestion, indexing, and data parsing. Ability to develop and manage dashboards, reports, alerts, and knowledge objects. Familiarity with Dynatrace monitoring capabilities (infrastructure, application performance, real-user monitoring). Ability to create and interpret Dynatrace dashboards and custom reports. Understanding of Dynatrace problem detection, root cause analysis, and performance. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and applications. Experience with other monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus) and logging frameworks (e.g., ELK Stack). Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation of monitoring tasks.

Professional Experience

Specific experience (usually 2-5 years) working directly with Splunk and Dynatrace. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. Ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Teamwork and Collaboration

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT operations, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage Splunk and Dynatrace monitoring solutions Ensure optimal performance and reliability of monitoring environments. Develop and maintain custom dashboards, alerts, and reports.

Certifications (Optional but Preferred) like Splunk Core Certified User, Dynatrace Certified Associate
