Description de poste
We are recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join a non-profit organization based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The individual will play a pivotal role in centralizing and enhancing the procurement processes, mitigating risk, ensuring financial accountability, and optimizing vendor relationships across the various departments.
Responsibilities :
- Implementing centralized procurement practices, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborating with department managers to identify needs and source appropriate vendors.
- Leading the vendor selection process, overseeing tendering, contract negotiations, and awarding.
- Upholding compliance with our organization's policies, legal requirements, and insurance standards.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved contract terms.
- Building relationships with vendors that align with our organization's mission and values.
- Utilizing various software such as ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Data Processing, Epic Software, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline the procurement process.
- Conducting audits to ensure all procurement activities are in line with organizational policies.
- Using your communication and relationship-building skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Facilitating RFX, RFQ Process, and Proposals - RFPs to ensure a fair and transparent procurement process.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a procurement role, preferably within a non-profit setting
- Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services software
- Familiarity with CRM applications
- High-level data processing skills
- Experience with Epic Software is an advantage
- Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools
- Experience with About Time software is desirable
- Demonstrated auditing abilities
- Proficiency in check processing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations related to procurement
- Proven ability to manage vendor relationships effectively
- Familiarity with RFX, RFQ processes
- Experience in handling proposals - RFPs
- Understanding of RFP process, RFP request for information, RFP requirements, and RFP request for quote
- Previous experience in corporate procurement is a plus
