We are hiring a Sales Director - Industrial Software to drive net-new logo acquisition and revenue growth. This is a hands-on sales role ideal for a hunter who enjoys building their own sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, industry events, and strategic networking. You will be part of an exciting start-up with a proven AI-powered SaaS platform that solves significant industrial and environmental problems. With uncapped commissions, minimal travel requirements, autonomy, you will be a key player in driving the organizations success.
- Help industrial operators conserve resources, cut energy consumption, and reduce environmental impact through intelligent software.
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven culture with no micromanagement—just autonomy, initiative, and the freedom to control your sales approach.
- Only 10-25% travel required, with no territorial restrictions on where you can sell in North America.
What & Why:
You'll own the complete sales cycle for enterprise accounts in utilities, desalination, and heavy industrial environments—prospecting through close. This position exists because our client is doubling down on North American expansion in 2026. You'll be the tip of the spear for new logo acquisition, engaging plant managers through C-suite operators. In addition, you will also mentor a team of account executives.
Who:
Our client is an industrial software innovator headquartered in Vancouver, BC. They've built an AI-powered analytics platform that helps asset-intensive operators make smarter decisions using existing operational data. With multiple successful funding rounds and growing revenue traction since their founding, they're positioned in a market with massive greenfield opportunity across North America's critical infrastructure landscape.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise sales experience, with direct experience selling software for industrial, operational, or asset-heavy customer segments.
- Consistent track record closing net-new logos with $30K–$100K+ ACV deals through consultative, multi-stakeholder cycles.
- Ability to quickly learn and have credible discussions about plant operations, SCADA/PLC systems, process optimization, and operational efficiency with engineering buyers.
- Self-starter who builds pipeline independently through targeted outbound, networking, and referral cultivation (this is not an inbound-fed role).
Compensation:
Base salary: $120,000–$150,000 + variable (OTE: $180,000–$220,000). Uncapped commission structure with no tiers. Extended health and dental benefits, life insurance, and 4 weeks paid vacation included.
Where:
This role requires 1 day per week in office (Downtown Vancouver). For candidates outside the Lower Mainland of BC, 1 day per month in office is required. Candidates must be located and able to work in Canada.
