Description de poste

Do you have the kind of land industry knowledge that makes people say, “Ask them, they’ll know”?

Pandell-ESG is looking for an Industry Specialist with strong land industry knowledge who can bring real-world context into conversations with our customers and across Product, Sales, Implementation, Support, Development, and QA.

You understand land workflows, terminology, and the day-to-day realities behind the data and processes our customers work with. More importantly, you can listen to a customer question, get to the heart of what they’re trying to accomplish, and help connect that back to how our software can support them.

That’s what makes this role interesting. You’ll sit at the intersection of the customer, the land industry, and our products, helping different teams understand how those pieces fit together. One day, you might be joining a customer discovery session or supporting a product demo. The next, you could be helping untangle a tricky workflow question, providing context during an implementation, sharing customer feedback with our LandWorks Product team, or helping an internal team understand why a land process works the way it does.

You’ll likely enjoy this role if you know the land industry well, enjoy solving problems, and are good at turning what you know into something practical and useful for others.

About Us:

ESG, along with its subsidiary Pandell, is a global leader in energy software, providing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions that support companies across utilities, renewables, retail energy, and oil and gas.

Across North America and the UK, our combined platforms help teams manage key parts of their business, including billing, asset management, regulatory requirements, and geospatial data. These tools bring together the information and workflows teams rely on every day, making it easier to run operations and stay organized.

Through cloud-based technology and data-driven insights, we help energy companies navigate complex markets and continue progressing toward Net-Zero goals.

Life at Pandell-ESG

Picture a workplace where what you do truly matters, your voice is heard, and your teammates are some of the smartest, kindest, and funniest people you’ll meet.

That’s Pandell-ESG.

We’re a fast-moving, high-performing software company filled with talented, purpose-driven people. Our culture is challenging, rewarding, and genuinely supportive. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are part of who we are, and we want you to show up as your authentic self. In return, we’ll support you with the trust, tools, and flexibility you need to do your best work.

About Our Land Product Team:

Our Land Product team supports a suite of industry-leading products, including LandWorks and Projects, serving customers across North America. It’s a supportive, collaborative team where people share ideas openly, help one another, and work through challenges together.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

  • Bring your land industry knowledge into conversations with Product, Sales, Implementation, Support, Development, QA, and other teams.
  • Help teams understand customer land workflows, terminology, business processes, and how those connect to our products.
  • Join customer discovery sessions, needs assessments, product demonstrations, and other customer conversations.
  • Help explain how product functionality supports real-world land processes and customer needs.
  • Identify gaps between customer workflows, product functionality, and expected outcomes.
  • Gather customer feedback and help surface recurring workflow challenges, product gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support implementation and post-sales teams by providing context around land workflows, configuration needs, and practical considerations.
  • Help investigate product or workflow questions where land expertise and customer context are needed.
  • Share your knowledge through training, documentation, customer education, and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current on changes and trends in the land industry that could affect our customers or products.

What You Bring

EPIC Essentials

You embody Pandell-ESG’s core values:

  • Excellence: Deliver your best, every time.
  • Passion: Show how much you care each day.
  • Integrity: Do the right thing, even when no one’s looking.
  • Collaboration: Work together to succeed together.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Strong knowledge of the land industry, including land workflows, terminology, processes, and customer operations.
  • Hands-on experience working in land, land administration, land systems, or a closely related area.
  • A good understanding of how land processes connect to software functionality and customer needs.
  • Experience working with customers or stakeholders through discovery sessions, demonstrations, training, needs assessments, implementations, or similar conversations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex land concepts in a clear, practical way.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect customer workflows to practical product solutions.
  • Comfortable working across teams, gathering information from different sources, and bringing in the right people when deeper technical or product input is needed.

Your Experience

  • 5+ years of experience working in the land industry, land administration, land systems, or a related field.
  • Practical experience working with land workflows, customer processes, and industry terminology.
  • Experience working directly with customers, stakeholders, or internal teams in a consultative or support capacity.
  • Experience using software or technology as part of land-related business processes.
  • Post-secondary education in land administration, business, technology, energy, information systems, or a related field is considered an asset.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with land management software or enterprise land systems.
  • Knowledge of Pandell products (LandWorks, Projects, LandRite...).
  • Experience working with Product, Sales, Implementation, Support, Development, or QA teams.
  • Familiarity with software implementations, configuration, requirements analysis, troubleshooting, or post-sales support.
  • Experience creating training materials, documentation, procedures, or customer-facing resources.
  • Experience supporting oil and gas, renewables, or other land-based energy operations.
