Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our client's retail location in Okotoks, AB. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and drive store performance in line with business goals. This role requires you to be a proven leader with strong retail management experience, excellent organizational skills, and a deep commitment to compliance, customer service, and team development.
  • Salary: $60K open for discussion.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist customers in a manner that sets a positive example for other team members.
  • Address and resolve all customer complaints professionally, ensuring a satisfactory outcome that leaves a positive impression.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and security regulations, meeting required compliance standards.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels through effective stock management.
  • Conduct scheduled inventory counts and prepare accurate inventory reports.
  • Drive sales growth, expand market presence, and promote the business to achieve established targets within set guidelines.
  • Verify invoices against packing slips and maintain accurate records of all expenditures.
  • Ensure merchandise is neatly presented and correctly priced at all times.
  • Make informed purchasing decisions, particularly when ordering in bulk to secure volume-based discounts.
  • Provide management with required reports on sales, staffing, and other productivity metrics.
  • Hold staff accountable for cash handling discrepancies.
  • Reconcile daily sales, print and file receipts, and accurately track daily revenue.
  • Make daily bank deposits and reconcile bank statements.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and participate in the ordering and receiving process for cannabis products and accessories.
  • Supervise staff and coordinate work schedules to ensure efficient operations at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid Canna Sell Retail Certification.
  • Provide a clear Criminal Background Check prior to the start date.
  • 3-6+ years of proven experience in the retail industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Store Manager role within a retail environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a strong track record in team management.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Proven ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly adapt to new sales software.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in customer service resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Culturally and politically sensitive with a respectful, inclusive approach.
  • Highly organized with the ability to plan, execute, and follow through on tasks.
  • Strong diplomacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in implementing PR and advertising campaigns.
  • Professional, responsive, and positive attitude in all interactions.
  • Meticulous in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Open to discussing relocation within the province.
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
