At this time, we invite applications for the position of : Relief Education Assistant - PRINCETON
The successful candidate will work with students with exceptionalities, youth with learning disabilities, those on modified alternate programs, using sound judgement in dealing with a variety of situations under the general supervision of the classroom and support services teacher(s).
To confirm required skills and ability, shortlisted applicants will undergo an academic assessment in the following areas :
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Written Assessment
Preference will be given to those candidates successful in all of the above areas.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
Qualifications and Attributes :
Pervasive developmental disorders, including ASD, FASD and complex behavioural needs
This position is 5.5 hours per day on school days only. (The exact timing of the hours will be determined by school the school administrator) from Sept 2, 2025, to June 26, 2026. Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the C.U.P.E. Local 847 Collective Agreement.
