Position Details

THE UNIVERSITY OF LETHBRIDGE is seeking applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank in Accounting on our Lethbridge or Calgary Campus beginning July 1, 2025. Preference will be given to someone with teaching and research interests in managerial accounting and data analytics / digital transformation, though individuals with teaching and research interests in financial accounting and data analytics / digital transformation will also be considered.

Applicants should possess a PhD in Accounting or be in the final stages of completing their dissertation in Accounting. An accounting designation is preferred. A commitment to teaching excellence and publishing research in quality journals is required. Online and hybrid teaching may be required, and courses may also be taught evenings or Saturdays, in addition to face-to-face daytime offerings.
