About the Role :
Our team of certified Volunteer Fitness Instructors lead group fitness classes such as Cardio, Dance, Cycle, Yoga, Strength / Resistance and Aquafit. They contribute to enhancing the member experience, and lead class instruction to ensure a positive and engaging environment for all participants.
Responsibilities :
- Provide quality instruction of relevant group fitness classes for participants of various skills and abilities.
- Deliver high quality services through excellent relationships with members.
- Relay program information and upcoming YMCA events to members.
- Class and equipment set up and take down, keeping group fitness equipment organized and in good repair, where necessary.
- Actively engage in the recruitment and retention of members and best practices.
- Demonstrate and promote a personal understanding of and appreciation for the mission, vision, and values and the YMCA programs and services.
