We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for our East End client. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about construction accounting, enjoys working in a dynamic environment, and enjoys working on process improvement initiatives.

As the Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the full accounting cycle, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial statements
• Prepare and manage project cost tracking, billing, and reconciliation of accounts
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Prepare and review budgets and forecasts
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Manage payroll process
• Prepare and submit tax filings and reports
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash management reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements to enhance profitability and efficiency
