Overview

Postes Canada is seeking an assistant in a customer-focused post office role. The position is on an on-call basis in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, with additional location Vallée-Jonction, Québec. Language requirement : French essential. Employment type : on-call; Status : fixed-term. Salary : 20.14$ per hour. Number of vacancies : 1.

Note : The ideal candidate should reside in the community; applications from those not living in the post office community may be considered if needed. All qualified applicants will be considered, but preference will be given to Indigenous people or persons with a disability as part of the employment equity initiative. Responsibilities

• Sell postal products and services to businesses and the public.
• Sort, distribute, and properly handle mail.
• Provide customers with information and forms.
• Address delivery and service difficulties to resolve issues quickly and completely.

Qualifications

Note : The ideal candidate should reside in the community. Candidates living within 50 km of the post office may be considered as needed. A security clearance process will be required for selected candidates. This position may be considered critical to security and is subject to the Substance Use Policy of Canada Post.
