As a senior data science advisor, you provide the data needed to make business decisions, develop solutions and services adapted to business issues and operational process optimization research. You had a leadership role with our business partners in projects developing models adapted to various business needs, and in strategic and complex interventions in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. You help solve business problems that have a high degree of operational and conceptual complexity, including claims management, and that require use of multiple data sources and comprehensive and detailed analysis and understanding of the property and casualty insurance industry. You interact with many colleagues, partners and clients from a wide range of fields, to understand and communicate issues and influence decision-making. More specifically, you will be required to :

• Ensure the exploration and evaluation of various available data, their characterization, quality inspection, adjustments, and selection of predictors within diverse and complex predictive modeling mandates.
• Analyze the business needs of clients and partners, produce hypotheses, and lead mandates considering the specificities related to their operationalization and ensuring alignment during their deployment.
• Use advanced methods in statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to exploit data, develop, and optimize models and segmentations that meet business needs.
• Ensure the necessary programming for data preparation and exploration, development, evaluation, support, deployment, and management of highly complex models.
• Produce, communicate, and simplify presentations and data visualizations to influence business decisions in their sector to the management.
• Write frameworks and data modeling methods and ensure compliance with specifications allowing optimal performance of constructed models. Ensure the development of documentation, preparation, and dissemination of training.
• Identify opportunities for optimization of rules and systems, anticipate the underlying impacts of changes, and bring evolutions to data management tools.
