EDC’s Business Enablement Department is dedicated to empowering the organization by providing the tools, resources, and support necessary to drive business success. This department plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency, leveraging technology, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. By providing the necessary support and resources, this department ensures that all teams can achieve their objectives and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

As the Product Owner of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform at EDC, you will be responsible for the implementation, strategic management and continuous improvement of our CRM platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Customer Service, Back Office and Technology, to ensure our CRM system meets the evolving needs of the business and enhances customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Product Vision and Strategy : Communicate a clear product vision and strategy for the CRM platform.Align the CRM strategy with overall business goals and customer needs.Provides in-depth business knowledge related to CRM (Salesforce)Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and customer impact.Change Champion : Is an ambassador for the new tool, promotes and facilitates the adoption of the tool, monitors uptake and helps increase adoption.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements.Participate in meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and review progressWorks closely with the Platform Owner to ensure alignment between business units and the CRM development team.Provides inputs to inform decisions required to support prioritizationParticipates in sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives as required
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Monitors sales effectiveness behaviours and user adoption around CRM Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Recommend changes to enhance processes and the user experience.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in CRM management.
  • Experience with Salesforce Platform
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Project experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
  • Compensation Details :

  • Sales Enabl. (Excellence) 19 : Salaries typically range from $109,810 to $146,413 annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.
  • Location

  • Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment.
  • This role may be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa, or from all EDC community Hubs and Regional offices in Canada.
