Description de poste

Are you a skilled Journeyman Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys seeing your work come to life? Join a respected Saskatoon builder with a strong reputation for excellence, where you’ll enjoy steady, long-term work on high-end residential projects alongside a team that values professionalism, attention to detail, and getting the job done right.

About Our Client
Our client is a well-established residential builder/developer in Saskatoon known for quality workmanship and a strong reputation in the local market. Their projects typically include high-end homes, renovations, and detail-focused carpentry work, with a team culture that values professionalism, safety, and doing things right the first time.

About the Opportunity
This is a permanent, full-time Journeyman Carpenter opportunity for a craft-focused carpenter who wants steady work with a reputable builder and a team that takes pride in the finished product.

You’ll be involved across the build cycle—supporting site progress, delivering clean installs/finishes, and helping keep projects on track through strong organization, communication, and jobsite standards.

Location: Saskatoon, SK (on-site)

About the Position
As the Journeyman Carpenter, you will:

  • Perform journeyman-level carpentry on residential construction and renovation projects
  • Complete rough and finish carpentry (framing, backing, deficiencies, finishing details, etc.)
  • Install and adjust components such as doors, hardware, trim, baseboards, and other interior finishes as required
  • Interpret drawings/specs and execute work to a high standard of quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized jobsite and follow all safety requirements
  • Coordinate day-to-day with site leadership and trades to keep work moving efficiently
  • Support project close-outs, punch list items, and warranty/service work as needed

The Requirements

  • Journeyperson Carpenter certification (required)
  • Strong hands-on experience in residential construction (new build and/or renovations)
  • Comfortable across both rough + finishing scopes (detail-oriented finishing is a strong asset)
  • Able to read drawings, follow layouts, and work independently with minimal direction
  • High standards for workmanship, professionalism, and client/site experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Physically capable of site work (including lifting/carrying materials and working in varied conditions)

Compensation & Benefits

  • $30 – $35 an hour depending on experience
  • Benefits plan (comprehensive coverage)
  • Paid vacation + holidays
  • Long-term, stable role with a reputable Saskatoon builder and strong project pipeline
