Position Summary :

CSN North's is currently hiring a skilled and meticulous Auto Body Prepper to become a valued member of our team. The primary duties of the Auto Body Prepper involve preparing vehicles for the painting process, which includes tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking. This role also offers the potential for advancement within our paint department.

Job Duties :

• Paint / Blend panels of vehicle that have been repaired
• Prep and tape vehicles for paint
• Repair light dents
• Use of power tools

Responsibilities : Prepares and applies paint to repaired vehicles. Duties may include final sanding, masking, colour mixing and tinting, spray booth operations and applying primers.

Vehicles must be properly prepared and refinished to insure proper adhesion, color match and overall appearance must meet our high quality standards.

Requirements

Required Skills / Experience :

• Strong attention to detail
• Minimum 2 years as an autobody painter / refinisher.
• Knowledge of different types of sanding and masking techniques
• Familiarity with automotive paints, primers, and painting equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a team player
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent
