The challenges that await you
You will be responsible for analyzing projects and coordinating construction or renovation work on municipal buildings, including but not limited to the following activities: development, design estimation, site monitoring, selection and installation of materials, establishing costs, timelines, budgets, and other related activities.
You will participate, upon request, in project design and site monitoring related to files entrusted to external firms.
Your main responsibilities:
- Coordinate teams composed of clients and representatives from internal services as well as contractors and external professionals;
- Analyze, in collaboration with other services, the projects under your responsibility and make recommendations within your area of expertise;
- Develop and propose projects for policies, programs, and procedures;
- Conduct needs and constraints analysis for a construction and/or renovation project, write expert reports, prepare estimates, supervise the preparation of design and execution files as well as tender documents;
- Supervise and inspect work to ensure compliance with requirements, specifications, deadlines, as well as applicable procedures and regulations.
The ideal profile for us
- Bachelor's degree in architecture and a master's degree in architecture;
- Have four (4) years of relevant experience for the position;
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des architectes du Québec;
- Experience in project management;
- Hold a valid class 5 driver's license and have access to a car;
- PMP certification is an asset.
