Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist with expertise in EU GMP compliance to oversee and maintain quality systems in our cannabis cultivation and processing operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Key Responsibilities : - Ensure full compliance with EU GMP guidelines throughout the cultivation, harvesting, processing, and packaging stages.- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with EU GMP and other applicable regulations.- Conduct internal audits, quality risk assessments, and deviation investigations.- Review and approve batch records, validation reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation.- Collaborate with production teams to monitor critical quality control parameters and resolve compliance issues.- Provide training and guidance to staff on GMP principles and quality standards.- Oversee complaint investigations, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and change control processes.- Work closely with regulatory agencies and third-party auditors to maintain compliance certifications.- Stay updated on evolving regulations and industry best practices related to EU GMP and cannabis quality assurance.- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies.- Conduct room mapping to validate environmental controls.- Monitor and graph room temperatures to ensure optimal storage and processing conditions.- Perform stability studies to assess product quality over time.- Oversee vendor approval processes to ensure suppliers meet quality standards.Qualifications & Experience : - Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment, EU preferable- 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.- Strong knowledge of EU GMP requirements for medicinal cannabis or pharmaceutical products is preferred.- Experience with quality management systems (QMS), document control, and validation protocols.- Proficiency in conducting audits, risk assessments, and investigations.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.- Experience in cannabis cultivation and processing.- Knowledge of Good Agricultural and Collection Practices (GACP) for medicinal plants.
