Description de posteGraduate degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D. in progress / completed) in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Academic or internship experience related to quantum information science or quantum circuits. Familiarity with Python and / or C++ programming. Strong knowledge of at least one of the following : microwave engineering, quantum optics, superconducting circuits, many-body physics Exposure to nanofabrication or simulation tools (e.g., FEM) is a plus. Eagerness to learn and develop hands-on quantum hardware skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.

Anyon Systems is a quantum computing company located in the Greater Montreal Region andwith presence in Waterloo, Ontario. We work at the cutting edge of technology to develop and commercialise superconducting quantum computers. The company is rapidly growing and has both hardware and software groups to achieve its R&D goals.
You will be working within our QuantumHardwareTeam, a team of engineers and scientists dedicated to the design, fabrication, and testing of novel superconducting quantum processors.You will collaborate closely with other teams when required. In this role, you will draw on your strong expertise as well as as your critical thinking and obsession for documentation.

Quantum Hardware Engineer Junior Level
Location : Montreal, Qc. Canada
Job Type : Full-Time | Entry-Level | Department : Physics
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and simulation of superconducting quantum circuits under guidance from senior engineers.
- Support circuit layout development and validation using Anyon Systems design toolkit.
- Conduct experimental work related to characterization, calibration and control of quantum devices.
- Participate in technical discussions and team meetings.
- Contribute to design documentation and collaborate with the nanofabrication team on basic process reports.
