  • Conduct semesterly performance evaluations to assess swim instructor competencies.

  • Assist with the hiring and onboarding of aquatic staff.

  • Complete course and participant administration, including processing rosters and maintaining accurate attendance and performance records.

  • Track aquatic equipment inventory, ensuring all materials are cleaned, organized, and in good condition.

  • Support term projects as assigned and assist in the development and delivery of new aquatic programs and initiatives.

5. Leadership Development and Other Duties (5%)

  • Participate in leadership development opportunities and staff training events.

  • Support the Aquatic Centre Coordinator, Supervisor and other Student Leaders in special projects, promotional activities, and operational initiatives as assigned.

  • Assist with special events, promotional activities, and staff training sessions as requested.

Qualifications

  • Current Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard certification or SwimAbilities certification and a valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C/AED.
