Description de poste

Description

We are currently seeking a driven, detail-oriented, and passionate Data Specialist to support the performance of our manufacturing site. Reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager, this role focuses on transforming operational data into actionable insights that drive continuous improvement. You will develop analytical tools and performance metrics tailored to the plant’s needs.

The ideal candidate is proactive, eager to learn, and results-driven—someone who sees challenges as opportunities and strives for excellence in everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the plant’s data analysis tools and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain performance tracking tools (e.g., OEE, downtime, yield).
  • Lead the structuring and centralization of cross-functional data by implementing reliable processes for data collection, validation, and consolidation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
  • Extract, organize, and analyze data from internal systems (ERP, MES, etc.).
  • Support the implementation and integration of manufacturing systems such as WMS (Warehouse Management System) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
  • Develop and track KPIs across departments.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support their data needs and build practical, user-friendly tools aligned with operational requirements.
  • Contribute to defining business needs and validating data-related technology solutions.

Profile

  • Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and self-driven, with a positive and energetic mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (engineering, business, data/BI, etc.).
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within a manufacturing or regulated (GMP) environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, VBA, Power BI, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of Python and Lean/Kaizen principles is an asset.
  • Experience or interest in WMS/MES systems is an asset.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to connect operational data with broader business objectives.
  • Bilingual in French and English.

What We Offer in Return

• Comprehensive group insurance starting on day one (medical, dental, disability, travel, etc.); 85% of the premium paid by the employer;
• One of the best retirement plans in Canada (employer contribution of 10%);
• Profit-sharing program of up to 6% of salary;
• Excellent working environment with an inspiring atmosphere;
• Multiple career advancement opportunities;
• A work environment where safety is an absolute priority.

Next Steps

• If your profile matches what we are looking for, you will be invited to an initial conversation with the recruiter.
• The next step will be an on-site interview with the hiring manager.
