Description de posteDevelop and maintain Python-based financial product logic (e.g., interest, fees, schedules, lifecycle events) Build and support integrations between the banking platform and surrounding systems (APIs, event streams, data flows) Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to translate requirements into robust, testable logic Write automated tests and contribute to quality practices (code reviews, CI checks, regression prevention) Debug complex behavioural issues across product logic and integration boundaries Document patterns, decisions, and implementation details to support long-term maintainability Strong Python experience in production environments (clean code, testing, debugging) Comfort working in a domain where correctness, quality, and traceability matter Experience building backend systems and integrations (REST APIs, event-driven systems, message queues, etc.) Ability to ramp up quickly on established platform conventions and technical documentation Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication Fluent in English (verbal & written) Fintech or banking domain experience (ledgers, payments, loans, deposits, etc.) Experience with "contract-style" domain logic (rule engines, workflow engines, state machines) Familiarity with regulated environments, auditability, or strong SDLC practices Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automation testing

About The Role
This is a Python-heavy role focused on integrating with a modern, cloud-native core banking platform. You'll be implementing and maintaining Python-based financial product logic ("contracts"), supporting platform integrations, and working within a well-defined development framework and release process.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys depth and ownership. You'll likely stay on a single project for an extended period, becoming the "go-to" person for this platform implementation. If you love rotating between many unrelated projects, this may not be your fit - but if you enjoy becoming an expert and building something meaningful end-to-end, you'll thrive here.
