Description de poste

About Us

Locally owned and operated since 1996, Wiseworth Canada Industries Ltd. is the Master Distributor for Ingersoll Rand compressed air products, parts, and services across British Columbia, Alberta, the Yukon, and Northwest Territories.

We are proud to be the largest compressed air sales and service provider in Western Canada, recognized as Top Ingersoll Rand Distributor in North America and awarded the Consumer Choice Award for Business Excellence. Our partnership with Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in compressed air innovation, positions us as the supplier of choice in our industry.

At Wiseworth, our success starts with our people. We believe in building lasting relationships, supporting one another, and creating a workplace where employees feel respected, valued, and empowered to succeed. We are a team driven by integrity, teamwork, safety, and a shared commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our Lower Mainland service team, based at our head office in Surrey, BC.

In this important role, you'll be at the heart of our service operations, helping customers get the support they need while coordinating the activities of our field service technicians. You'll work closely with customers, technicians, management, and other team members to ensure service work is scheduled efficiently, customer needs are addressed promptly, and our service commitments are consistently delivered.

If you're someone who enjoys helping people, solving problems, staying organized, and working in a busy, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for someone who brings a positive attitude, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Technical aptitude and previous service coordination experience are valuable assets, but equally important are your willingness to learn, ability to build relationships, and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

You'll be joining an experienced and supportive team that takes pride in working together, sharing knowledge, and helping one another succeed.

Service Coordination & Scheduling

  • Proactively organize, schedule, and coordinate daily service activities for our field service technicians throughout the Lower Mainland.

  • Communicate with customers to arrange preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and other service appointments.

  • Coordinate technician availability, service priorities, required parts, and customer expectations to support efficient service delivery.

  • Create, update, and maintain accurate service work orders using company business and scheduling systems.

  • Review completed work orders, technician time records, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to billing.

  • Work closely with technicians, service management, and parts personnel to address scheduling challenges and keep service activities running smoothly.

  • Participate in a shared on-call rotation, as required, to help coordinate after-hours service requests and ensure timely support.

  • Provide occasional vacation coverage for fellow service team members, helping maintain continuity of service and supporting the team.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Serve as a friendly, professional, and dependable point of contact for customers seeking service assistance.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries by telephone, email, and in person.

  • Listen carefully to customer concerns, ask appropriate questions, and help identify practical solutions to their service needs.

  • Prepare service and repair estimates, communicate recommendations, and follow up with customers to obtain necessary approvals.

  • Build strong, lasting customer relationships through responsive communication, reliability, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

  • Help resolve customer concerns by working collaboratively with technicians, management, and other departments.

Service Growth & Teamwork

  • Proactively contact customers to schedule maintenance and other service work that supports equipment reliability and performance.

  • Identify opportunities to recommend preventive maintenance programs, replacement parts, repairs, and other Wiseworth products and services when they provide meaningful value to customers.

  • Support service revenue growth through timely follow-up, effective scheduling, and professional customer interactions.

  • Collaborate with Account Managers, technicians, parts personnel, and other team members to provide a seamless customer experience.

  • Maintain accurate customer information, service records, estimates, and other documentation.

  • Assist with general office and service administration activities as needed.

  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and supportive workplace where teamwork and continuous improvement are encouraged.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business administration, customer service, or a related field is an asset.

  • Previous experience in service coordination, dispatching, scheduling, customer service, or a similar administrative role is preferred. Experience in industrial equipment, compressed air systems, or a technical service environment would be an asset, but is not essential. We value transferable skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • A friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach, with a genuine interest in helping others.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and a willingness to take initiative.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.

  • Good technical aptitude and an interest in learning about industrial equipment, parts, maintenance requirements, and service processes.

  • Comfortable preparing quotations, reviewing service documentation, and working with detailed information.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn new business software and service management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

  • High standards of integrity, accountability, professionalism, and reliability.

  • Wiseworth Canada Industries Ltd. maintains a drug and alcohol-free workplace.

  • This position is based at our head office in Surrey, British Columbia.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe in recognizing the contributions of our employees and providing a competitive compensation and benefits package that supports both professional success and personal well-being.

Our package includes:

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

  • Commission opportunities and eligibility for performance-based bonuses.

  • Comprehensive benefits program, including extended health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.

  • Company matching pension plan.

  • Annual flex and wellness allowance to support your health and lifestyle.

  • Paid vacation and sick days.

  • Employee Assistance Program.

  • Educational assistance for approved employment-related courses.

  • Ongoing training, professional development, and opportunities for career advancement within a growing organization.

Why Join Wiseworth?

At Wiseworth Canada, we know that great customer service begins with a great team. We're committed to providing an environment where people enjoy coming to work, feel supported by their colleagues, and have opportunities to grow and succeed.

As part of our team, you'll enjoy:

  • Stability and opportunity: Build your career with an established, locally owned company and recognized leader in the compressed air industry.

  • A welcoming and supportive team: Work alongside experienced professionals who value collaboration, mutual respect, and helping one another succeed.

  • Meaningful work: Play an important role in helping customers maintain reliable equipment and keep their businesses operating efficiently.

  • Professional growth: Develop new skills through hands-on experience, training, and ongoing learning opportunities.

  • A positive workplace culture: Be part of an organization that values integrity, accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Engaged and approachable leadership: Work with leaders who care about employee development, customer success, and building a strong organization.

  • Work-life balance: Join a company that recognizes the importance of maintaining a healthy balance between your professional and personal life.

  • A respected industry partnership: Represent premium products and services backed by Ingersoll Rand, one of the world's leading industrial manufacturers.

We'd Love to Hear from You!
