Description

  • Support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team to deliver high-quality, West Coast-inspired cuisine with consistency and creativity.
  • Assist in menu development , ensuring fresh, locally inspired dishes that highlight seasonal ingredients.
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation , maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations , maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment , ensuring exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant, preferably with experience in seafood and West Coast cuisine .
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to inspire and develop a kitchen team.
  • Passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and a keen eye for detail in food presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong organizational skills.
