Your Role as a Senior Civil Engineer:

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. As a Senior Civil Engineer, your role will include:

  • Managing and executing projects from concept through to completion, including contract administration, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Working directly with civil engineers and technologists as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team.
  • Applying fundamentals and engineering tools to design civil infrastructure, including, but not limited to site plans, grading, stormwater management, underground infrastructure, and utility servicing designs.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational, administrative, observational, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Leading design, internal coordination, project management, and providing technical support to clients during the construction projects, from concept to completion.
  • Participating in the preparation of proposals and engineering budgets.
  • Mentoring designers and junior engineers.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Expanding the client base and business opportunities in JLR’s core markets.
