We're looking for an Engineering Co-op Student to join our Athabasca Oriented-Strand Board division, located in Slave Lake, Alberta . This state-of-the-art facility has the longest continuous press In North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative forest products such as Laminated Strand Lumber (LSL) and Engineered Wood Products (EWP) for customers around the world.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications :
- Current enrollment in an Engineering or Wood Science program.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machines.
- A passion for technology and innovation.
- Strong organizational , analytical, and report-writing skills .
- Ability to work independently and use own resources to find innovative solutions to new problems.
