MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our client, a growing innovative design-build firm based in Abbotsford, to support its Business Development team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for technical writing, proposal strategy, and graphic presentation who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.
As a Proposal Coordinator, you will help craft proposals, qualifications packages, and presentations for world-class timber and hybrid structures across North America and abroad. Responsibilities
- Curate and organize proposals, RFQs/RFPs, qualifications packages, and client presentations for engineering and construction services.
- Develop, edit, and format project-specific writeups tailored to client needs.
- Maintain and update the proposal library and company portfolio.
- Assist BD team with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc project support.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and the marketing team to ensure high-quality, strategic proposals.
- Post-secondary education in Architecture, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience in proposal writing, business development, or sales; architecture/design/engineering background preferred.
- Strong technical writing skills with attention to grammar, structure, and clarity.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, Bluebeam, and Canva.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with senior staff.
