Life Enrichment Aide – Full Time
Location : Villa Care Centre, 658 King Street, Midland, Ontario
Join our team as a Life Enrichment Aide! Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering Life Enrichment Services. You will implement and communicate a schedule of recreation and social activities offered during days, evenings and weekends.
You will provide and assist with indoor and outdoor recreation, leisure and outings that benefit all residents of the home and reflect their interests, and provide opportunities for resident and family input into the development and scheduling of activities.
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology or related field.
- Or enrolled in a diploma or degree program in such a field as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act.
- Minimum of one year’s experience in geriatric rehabilitation or long‑term care (preferred).
- Active interest in ongoing education.
- Flexible, innovative and creative.
- Computer literate.
