    About the role

    Canadian Blood Services is looking for a Temporary full-time Program Clerk - General to join our dynamic Collections Operations West team.

    The Collections Operations West team is responsible for supporting Canadian Blood Services by providing administrative support to all program activities within the Collections and Donor Relations this role you will provide support in accordance with all regulations standards and good manufacturing practice.

    Formula for success

  • Program support for Collections Donor Relations Supply Chain and other related departments.
  • Scheduling and timekeeping for different departments in the region.
  • Document management including medical and training materials and documents.
  • Perform other clerical tasks and dutis as assigned (eg - ordering office supplies and scheduling of third party vendors).

    • Desired education and skills

  • Completion of secondary education in related field.
  • Exprience with scheduling and timekeeping in a unionized environment would be a valuable asset.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills are critical.
  • Strong attention to detail while managing priorities as you multi-task.
  • Minimum two (2) years recent related office or administrative experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level requiredusing Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook software.
  • Effective communication in English (both verbally and in writing).
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
