Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full -Time Pharmacy Assistant to work at our North Parallel Food Store- Pharmacy located in Abbotsford , BC.

What you will do: As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will support our pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient patient care while providing exceptional customer service.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy and contribute to an outstanding patient experience.

Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for every patient.

Support pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency.

Process prescriptions, refill requests, and patient information using pharmacy software.

Direct clinical and medication-related questions to the pharmacist.

Maintain medication and supply inventory, including receiving orders, stocking shelves, and removing expired products.

OTC merchandising including, product assortment, shelf organization, product presentation, inventory management and promotional displays. Contact patients regarding prescription pickups and manage unclaimed prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy procedures.

Maintain accurate records while ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Keep the dispensary clean, organized, and compliant with health, safety, and infection control standards.

Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to support efficient daily operations and an exceptional patient experience.
