Responsibilities as a production gatekeeper may include :
Monitor incoming and outgoing pallets to and from production.
Validate scanning on the WHMS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) against physical usage.
Control quantities on each pallet of finish goods, raw material and packaging.
Create new license plate / palette ID for partials and lost ones.
Balance all work order upon their completion.
Verify the accuracy of inventory (annually and occasionally).
Inspect goods for damage.
Contribute to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Update the systems if needed.
Additional tasks provided by a supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications
High School or collage diploma. Or have at least two (2) or more years of working experience in a production environment, ideally in the food storage industry.
Ability to work with numbers in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of MS software (Excel is a must).
Ability to work with an RF scanner.
Solid understanding of how an inventory works.
Ability to work in a bilingual environment (French and English required to serve our internal and external customers).
Ability and willingness to work in a cold environment (-18°C to 10°C).
Organized, reliable and responsible.
Concerned about customer satisfaction without neglecting results.
