About the Role

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager who will ensure the right products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with margin and revenue goals. In this role, you will own how products get delivered, partnering closely with US and global teams to evaluate product costs, set local pricing, and manage the seamless movement of goods from production to the Distribution Center.

You will play a critical role in driving revenue and margin by shaping product assortment, supporting product selection, and ensuring alignment across wholesale, ecommerce, and DTC channels. Working cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, sales, marketing, and logistics teams, you will proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks to maintain smooth operations and maximize sales performance.

You’ll Make a Difference By

  • Owning product assortment and SKU strategy in partnership with International Merchandising, driving sales and strengthening brand presence
  • Advocating for local market needs while aligning with Planning on MOQs, lead times, and execution strategies
  • Selecting and aligning product assortments across wholesale, ecommerce, and retail channels
  • Leading product lifecycle management, including new product selection and seasonal initiatives
  • Conducting market, trend, and competitor analysis to inform assortment decisions
  • Analyzing product performance (sell-through, margin, seasonality) to guide pricing and purchasing decisions
  • Managing local wholesale and retail pricing to ensure margin targets are achieved
  • Placing and approving purchase orders in alignment with forecasts, sales plans, and inventory strategies
  • Monitoring supply chain risks, including delays and shortages, and proactively mitigating impact on sales and inventory
  • Managing product setup, system data accuracy, and ongoing updates to ensure alignment with current plans
  • Overseeing SMS ordering and distribution processes
  • Partnering with logistics teams to manage end-to-end international shipments, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery
  • Overseeing import documentation, customs clearance, and DC pre-alerts to ensure operational efficiency
  • Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks to protect product availability and revenue
  • Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in retail buying/merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in retail buying or merchandising across multiple sales channels.
  • Strong negotiation skills and product intuition.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally, especially with Planning, to manage complex OTB processes.
  • Deep understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms such as FOB, EXW, DDP) and global freight processes
  • Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills with the ability to perform sales, inventory, and margin analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory and product management.
  • close attention to detail, particularly in data entry and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, “start-up” environment—balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Results-driven mindset focused on key metrics such as stock turn, forecast accuracy, and margin performance.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required as it is the Company’s primary business language

Core Competencies

  • Strategic Product & Assortment Management
  • Financial & Margin Analysis
  • Supply Chain & Logistics Management
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Data Analysis & Technical Proficiency
  • Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation
  • Operational Execution & Attention to Detail
